It's been a rough couple of days for Taylor Swift on social media. First her ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris accuses her of going back on her word to make him look bad, then tonight Kim Kardashian released videos on Snapchat of the singer giving Kanye West permission to use her in his song “Famous" — a permission Tay had previously denied. In the snaps Kanye tells Swift over the phone about the lyrics, "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex" and we hear her positive response ("it's like a compliment"), but that’s not everything he said in the song, nor, as Taylor tells it, the whole story.
Swift quickly responded on Instagram, “Where is the video of Kanye telling me he was going to call me ‘that bitch’ in his song. It doesn’t exist because it never happened.” She then goes on to say that, “I wanted to believe Kanye when he told me that I would love the song,” but she never got to hear the final product before it was released as she alleges he promised he would. She ended her 'gram, “I would very much like to be excluded from this narrative, one that I have never asked to be a part of, since 2009.” Unfortunately for Taylor, it takes two (and a posse of famous friends and supporters) to feud, and this is just another spice added to the long marinating beef.
