The stars brought out quite an eclectic mix of risky outfits this week -- and there weren't many successful attempts. The normally put-together Isla Fisher leads the round-up this week with an almost perfect outfit... if it weren't for her completely translucent sheer top, which exposed her entire bra. Ke$ha actually wore a sheer polka-dot blouse well, but fumbled when she paired it with very small shorts.

It's always fun when stars riff on themselves. Case in point: Joan Rivers posted a picture on Tuesday of herself wearing a pretty hilarious American flag shawl. The harsh "Fashion Police" host said she was "feeling very patriotic this weekend" and joked that she wore the getup for three days straight.

Though she didn't exactly have the fashion cred of a Grace Kelly or Audrey Hepburn during her heyday, Marilyn Monroe continues to top lists of influential style icons. To me, it'll always be because of her innate innocence -- or, at least, the vibe of innocence Monroe was able to convey in a single look. I think of "The Seven Year Itch," where she was the unassuming wannabe glamour girl who manages to make her downstairs neighbor become absolutely unhinged. It was the big eyes, the halo of blonde curls, the simple wardrobe and, of course, her smile.

It's just a hair over 40 days until I walk down the aisle to become someone's wife, but I still don't have the shoes that will carry me there. It's not that I'm entirely picky, but more so that I'm vertically-challenged. And while I don't have too many qualms about my 5'1" build, my soon to be husband towers over me at 6'2" which means that if I'm not wearing some killer high heels on our wedding day, all of the photos will undoubtedly be of the bottom of my chin as I crane my neck to meet his gaze.
