With its clusters of glinting Swarovski crystals embroidered onto pale ice-blue raw silk, its wool lining, and contrasting collars and cuffs, Giambattista Valli's runway bomber jacket seems like an impossible clash of street and eveningwear, in the best way possible. We love the sheen of its silk and its unassuming silhouette that riffs on the classic employees-only style, rooted in New York City nightlife. We can't decide if it looks better just worn over the shoulders with a simple black midi-skirt — as seen on the streets of Paris during SS14 Fashion Week — or with dark jeans and boots. Luckily, at such an astronomical price, we'll never have to decide.
