What are we buying this week? What aren’t we buying? Below, we rounded up a few of the things we found so irresistible, we had to buy them — and share them with you.

Associate Producer Whitney Little: In my world, there are two types of people: Those who can wear lipstick, and those who can’t. I’ve stubbornly placed myself in the latter category for years, going so far as to avoid even the simplest gloss.
Then Alex introduced me to Becca Beach Tint. I tried the “Lychee” hot pink shade, which is totally out of my comfort zone, but it blended so seamlessly and really complimented my complexion without being too “Look at my lips!”
The best part about this product? It’s a two-for-one deal: The stain can also be used on your cheeks! I ditched my tried-and-true powder blush and was extremely happy with the results — so much so that this stuff has officially skyrocketed to the top of my beauty must-haves list. And, hey, I’m a lipstick person now (I’m even wearing it in this pic)! Who knew?

Style News Editor Alex Apatoff: I tend to have “moments” that I go through, where I’m wearing all A-line skirts or chunky necklaces or metallic flats. This may make me crazy; it’s hard to say.
Currently, my obsession is for slightly unusual stud earrings — ones that look classic from a distance but have a little special twist. And since I already had a pair of Alexis Russell’s rough diamond studs in heavy rotation in my earrings wardrobe, I knew just where to look when I wanted to update my collection.
These Herkimer diamond quartz crystals by the designer are deceptively simple, but they have special details that give them a little edge and set them apart. I just got them yesterday and I’m wearing them today — and likely every day until my next “moment” begins.

Editorial Assistant Heather Viggiani: I’m so in love with this dress! I popped into the James Perse store in East Hampton over the weekend (mainly because a handsome male model was passing out Arnold Palmers and it was hot … outside, I mean!).
I bet myself that this dress would look much better on than it does on the hanger and boy, was I right! It’s universally flattering thanks to the ruching and double jersey on bottom.
I didn’t realize until I got home that the neckline and arm holes have a cute twist detail. Dressed up or down, it’s always comfortable. I’m in love!

Associate Editor Brittany Talarico: I recently moved into a new apartment with my boyfriend and decorating it has been so. Much. Fun. I’m always looking for new pieces to fill our space (and trying to convince him why we actually need them!).
Needless to say when Jonathan Adler’s home collection hit JC Penney, I was first in line. I’m a huge fan of Adler (and a constant window-shopper of his N.Y.C. boutique), so getting his signature designs — like this ceramic, owl-base table lamp — at a fraction of the price is just as exciting to me as shopping Zara’s summer sale (which, FYI, is still going on).
The lamp lives on my dresser and provides great light for putting on my makeup. It’s currently not sold online, but check out the rest of Adler’s collection here, and next time you find yourself in a mall, you might want to take a peek in JC Penney.
