This Week’s Best Dressed List Was a Catherine/Katharine Showdown

Pretty hair? Check. Porcelain skin? Check. Glamorous gown? Check. Knowing those three things, if we said the name of this week’s best dressed star out loud, you might think it was either Katharine McPhee or Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge — and you wouldn’t be wrong.

The two brunette beauties duked it out for the top title of “Most Loved Look” as voted on by you, and at press time, fewer than 100 votes separated the two stars from the No. 1 spot.

McPhee was elegant in a shell-pink dress gown with a mermaid hem at L.A.’s Creative Arts Emmys, though the sheer bodice and hot-pink lips gave the classic look a modern edge. Meanwhile, Catherine brought megawatt glamour to her first outing as a new mom, wearing an allover sequin Jenny Packham gown to the Tusk Conservation Awards gala in London.
