Even as a branding exercise, Kit Kat's art commission makes impressive eye candy.
Illustrator Mike Watt melted down the last 50 white chocolate Kit Kats in Australia and created 50 portraits, the video above shows.
Watt gets a lot out of 1.5 ounces of vending machine temptation. We are partial to the mummy and the unicorn pictures he creates, but you can judge for yourself all the Kit Kat White posters in the Facebook viewing gallery.
"They're really quite beautiful," AdWeek enthused.
Candy art can take many forms, from social commentary in skittles to representations of the deprivation of prison life in M&Ms.
The calories don't seem so empty now, do they?
