Elsa Hosk is a big fan of being in the buff.
“I love being naked,” the Victoria’s Secret model and face of the lingerie brand’s new Crush fragrance tells PeopleStyle when she stopped by to chat for our “5 Questions” video series. “I think there’s something so freeing about it, you’re throwing all your clothes off and you’re just you. It’s just a great feeling. Nothing bugging you.”
The Swedish model, 27, went on to say she loves to strip down particularly when she’s on vacation with her boyfriend, entrepreneur Tom Daly. “It’s what we do,” she says, recalling a recent trip to Mykonos, Greece. “My boyfriend and I hiked this mountain to get to the other side of it where it was like nobody just so we could jump in the ocean naked. It was the best.”
Clearly, she’s very comfortable with flaunting her figure — and she says some of her confidence comes from being a former professional basketball player for the Swedish women’s basketball league. “Being an athlete before modeling really taught me how to be comfortable with me body and also work as a team,” she says.
“When you’re shooting fashion, you’re a team — a team of photographers, hair and makeup, stylists, assistants,” she continues. “And it’s so important that you all work together, same as on the field or on the court. So that really helped me, and also I have to train a lot in my job and I have to have complete control over my body. When I pose, I use every muscle in my body and you learn that as an athlete. So, I think it really goes hand in hand. It has more similarities than you think.”
