Nils Sjöberg a.k.a. Taylor Swift was at the Tommy X Gigi show! The newly single singer supported squad member Gigi Hadid at the model’s Tommy Hilfiger collaboration show during New York Fashion Week on Friday. The front row appearance marked the pop star’s first public outing since her breakup with Tom Hiddleston.
Though the clothes were trendy and chic, we couldn’t help but notice a particular song playing in the background. Swift, 26, posted a video of her cheering as she karaoked to ex Calvin Harris and Rihanna‘s song “This Is What You Came For.” Also joining her sing-along were Martha Hunt, Lewis Hamilton, Gigi’s mom Yolanda Hadid and brother Anwar Hadid. The audience at Pier 16 included Kris Jenner, Doutzen Kroes and Olivia Palermo with models Hailey Baldwin and Taylor Hill walking the runway.
“SO PROUD OF YOU GIGI!!!! That show was INSANE. Congrats to Gi, Tommy, and all the girls who just owned that runway!!” the pop star captioned the video, to which Hadid responded: “I love you. Thank you for being the most incredible friend.”
“This Is What You Came For” was the song co-written by Swift and Harris during their 15-month relationship. Their romance fizzled and news of their split became a “media circus,” according to the EDM DJ who told British GQ that “the aftermath of the relationship was way more heavily publicized than the relationship itself,” adding that “all hell broke loose.”
Swift quickly moved on, striking up a whirlwind romance with Hiddleston. The pair have also called it quits after just three months together.”It was an amicable split,” a source previously told PEOPLE. Since the separation, Hiddleston, 35, has been spotted smiling on the set of Thor: Ragnarok in Australia.
At Friday’s show, Gigi told Entertainment Tonight that Swift is working on new music again. “She’s obviously such a great friend, and you know she is starting to go back to work in the studio again, and really made time to be here for me, and I am so grateful for that,” Hadid said.
