The 49-year-old single mother seemed to be channeling actress Tilda Swinton with this androgynous ensemble that featured a button up white shirt, black blazer, black spandex pants, and buckle-covered black heels. Perhaps it was a throwback to her character, feminist FBI agent Gracie Hart, from the 2000 hit Miss Congeniality.

Bullock has been making the rounds promoting Gravity, which has already earned plenty of Oscar buzz and made more than $55 million in its opening weekend. The film also stars George Clooney and follows two surviving astronauts trying to recover their damaged space shuttle and avoid getting lost in space.

The space thriller is a complete 180 from Bullock's other 2013 smash: the uproarious cop comedy, The Heat, which costarred Melissa McCarthy and made almost $160 million in the U.S.
