The Pippa Middleton engagement rumors have been ramping up all year, with chatter reaching fever pitch in September... then dying down after the Middleton sis was clearly spotted without a ring on her finger.
But cue the gossip again: Us Weekly reports that Middleton and her boyfriend, Nico Jackson, are finally engaged. The mag says Jackson, a banker (and, alas, a non-royal) popped the question when the pair were on vacation in India earlier this month. "It was exactly how he planned it," a source told Us. "Very romantic and grand!"
Jackson and Middleton have been dating for a little under a year, their relationship first surfacing after pictures of Pippa with a "mystery man" on her family's Mustique vacation hit the tabloids. 36-year-old Jackson, while from "a totally different background from Pippa’s other boyfriends," is handsome as all get out and has since been seen accompanying his social butterfly girlfriend out on the town around London.
So is the engagement the real deal? No confirmation yet from the Middleton camp, so for now this is another rumor. But you can be sure we'll update when the big news is finally official.
