When the zombies come, or the big drought ravages the land, or the big earthquake causes the big fire followed by the big flood followed by the deep freeze that destroys most of humanity, we will need a reason to fight for survival. So let's hope the dystopian future looks like the one in Grimes's new video for "Kill V. Maim."
Her vision of the post-apocalyptic world is a cybergoth utopia where survivors skulk around New York City subway tunnels in red pleather capes and Comme des Garçons jackets and attend blood-raves in gold-plated fangs and Versace sweatshirts — the only sort of future world worth living in.
