Designers, editors, businesspeople and fashionistas from around the world attend the various shows and parties held during New York Fashion Week. Very few, though, can lay claim to all those titles at once. As the vice president of the Trump Organization, designer of the uber-successful Ivanka Trump collections, socialite and mother of two, Ivanka Trump shows us what her world looks like during NYFW.

Trump clears her schedule for events that double up as a time to catch up with friends — above, she’s dressed for the Diane Von Furstenberg show at left and a Carolina Herrera luncheon at right. And as always, she shows her dedication to mixing high and low styles (including, of course, her namesake heels and jewelry). At DVF, she accented her J.Crew top, DVF skirt and Norisol Ferrari with a sleek do and bold red lips.

But as every fashionista knows, one has to take time for oneself in between shows — whether it’s tending to tired feet or squeezing in a workout to counteract all that champagne. “Warning: Late night fashion shows may result in not-so-serious morning workouts. Better than nothing, right?” she tells PEOPLE of her snap of her getting goofy in the gym. And she also squeezes in family time — literally, in the case of the snuggle she’s giving to super-adorable 11-month-old Joseph.

In between events, Trump has to do some quick-change maneuvers that also can result in some last-minute decisions. And having umlimited options of your own design can be a blessing and a curse. “Choices, choices!” Trump tells PEOPLE. “When you happen to own a glam handbag line, deciding what to carry with what isn’t always easy!”

And for an entrepreneur like Trump, seeing the technological side of fashion can be one of the most fun parts. Above, she checks out the starry Altuzarra for Target collection, and stops by the InStyle 20th anniversary party with husband Jared Kushner before boarding a golf cart (in Manhattan!) to take them to the high-tech 4D Polo Ralph Lauren party. Her take on the evening? “Absolutely incredible.”
