The Most Pinteresting Runway Looks (So Far)

We are sifting through the onslaught of beautiful clothes coming in during fashion week and pinning the ones that we love the most. Why do we pin them? Because they're significantly on-trend, insane, or, sometimes, we just plain love them.

At Rag & Bone, your strappy middle-school semi-formal dance look came back with a vengeance in ice blue crushed velvet, or with embellished sheer mesh overlay. Very nineties; we especially loved the looks paired with cross-body satchels to lend a sense of utility.

Jason Wu downplayed his usual frothy girlishness with looks that seemed more wearable in the day-to-day with looks that seemed vaguely reminiscent of runway trends from the early 2000s; cargo pockets galore, low-slung skirts and trousers, and fluid bias-cut silk. We loved the sequin shirt-dress that seemed like a perfect high-fashion compromise between utility and frivolity.

Earlier today, memorable off-the-shoulder looks were shown at Prabal Gurung. It was a continuation of that shoulderless trend most recently seen at last season's Prada show.  Not to be confused with strapless — this look is the hallmark of Grace Kelly and Christian Dior's new look of the 1950s, and for that alone, it's Pinterest gold.  Pink satin, and shawl-collared jackets and cape coats had a slight alien sci-fi vibe; maybe it was the ultraviolet lilac lips or the pvc accessories and curtain-as-set-piece that enclosed the models.
