We were psyched when we were able to do a little house tour of Mindy Kaling's Los Angeles abode thanks to Instagram, but little did we know, those shots weren't all we were going to see of Kaling's home this week.
The comedian graces the cover of this week's Parade magazine, and in their behind-the-scenes interview with her (which takes place at her Spanish-styled house), she opens up about the one thing it takes to really make a house a home. "It's a sofa, that when you watch television, you can fall asleep on it," she said.
Kaling also confessed that she's "naturally messy" and collects miniatures, birds (found on a trip with her late mother) and photos of friends and family. Mindy, in case you're reading, we love miniatures, too.
Be sure to head over to Parade magazine to see the interview.
We can't get enough of Mindy!
