Michael Kors, DVF Won’t Show at Lincoln Center

WWD reports that the rumors of a Lincoln Center Fashion Week exodus are true: Both Michael Kors and Diane Von Furstenberg will apparently not be showing in the tents this February. Instead, both designers have cemented slots at the sparkling new Spring Studios in Tribeca, sources tell the publication. DVF will reportedly show there on February 9, while Kors will present his collection on the 12th. (Neither designer confirmed the news to WWD.) But another defector, Vera Wang, has revealed a new, downtown location for her show: the Dia Center for the Arts, where she will present her collection on February 11. Will the fancy new spaces change the kind of show we can expect from these three majors?
