She dropped a wedding bomb on us earlier this summer, but Kerry Washington's not hiding her marriage anymore. The "Scandal" star wore her wedding ring while on the red carpet for the Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour event Sunday.
The ring -- which appears to be a simple diamond-encrusted and gold band, pictured below -- was given to Washington by her husband, San Francisco 49ers cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha. The fiercely private couple married on June 24 in Blaine County, Idaho, according to marriage license papers they filed.
An insider who claimed to have attended the happy pair's wedding said it was a no-frills affair held at a house owned by a friend of Washington's. "They flew a few people out on this little private plane. The house was beautiful," the source told People. "It was small, just family and friends. They said their own vows, people stayed at the house. It was really simple and sweet."
