When Keira Knightley stopped by Chanel fashion week in a black-and-white outfit in February, she definitely turned heads (and dropped a few jaws). The construction of the dress created an optical illusion that seemed to give her an impossibly teeny waist — and the outfit itself inspired serious debate from fashionistas, who either loved or hated it.
Well, now we know that Knightley is firmly in the “loving it” camp, because she’s worn a strikingly similar silhouette twice more at events for her upcoming film Begin Again. For the film’s Tribeca Film Festival premiere, she chose a more elaborately detailed and beaded version of the look. It had the same slightly dropped waist with a structured band, fitted middle and crop-top like overlay around the bust, though the skirt and sleeves were longer.

Then for the dinner in honor of the film, she changed into another variation on her new go-to Chanel style: A cream-colored version of the same dropped-waist, structured-hip, fitted-bodice dress with a blousy top and sleeves, plus some seriously enviable red pumps.
What do you think of Knightley’s new signature style? Is it perfect for her or would you like to see her trying something new? Let us know in the comments!
