It took all of a day for Kanye West's new capsule collection for French designer label A.P.C. to sell out. His line hit the brand's stores and website on Sunday July 14, and, according to Fashionista, by the next day, it had sold out. Granted, West's line consisted of just three T-shirt styles, three sweatshirts, and two pairs of jeans.

Diehard West fans and menswear connoisseurs can still score his clothes, but it will demand patience (his items are now only available for pre-order) and a pretty penny: His plain white T-shirt retails for $120, jeans for $265, long-sleeved hoodie for $280, short-sleeved hoodie for $250.

A.P.C.'s founder Jean Touitou spoke with Style.com recently about their two-year collaboration that yielded this very small collection. "When you deal with a guy who wants to redesign just about anything so it could fit [into the] kingdom of dopeness, it takes some time to just sit and say, 'Okay, agreed, but let’s get start on something limited, and we’ll see,' " he said.

Then he added, cryptically, "Fashion killed rock and roll. Fashion killed contemporary art, and turned it vulgar. And if hip-hop artists are not careful, it will also kill hip-hop."
