There are some Hollywood trademarks we just don’t like to mess with. Like Kristen Stewart‘s smoky eyeliner, Sofia Vergara‘s bombshell waves and, of course, Julianne Moore’s red hair.
Which is why we were not prepared to see photos of the star sporting freshly dyed blonde locks on the set of her upcoming film, Maps to the Stars, along with lighter brows to match.

The star is perpetually lovely — and this pic was snapped without the benefit of hair and makeup services, so we’re excited to see the new style once she’s all glammed up.
But we’re still going to light an imaginary candle for the prettiest hair hue in Hollywood, and can’t wait until she’s back to the Moore we know and love. And she likely agrees with us; the last time she went blonde, for Blindness, she said “I couldn’t wait to get back to my normal color … I got so much attention I couldn’t stand it.”
