“I’ve been very lucky that if a designer has made a dress especially for me that they let me keep it,” Chastain said in a recent interview while promoting her new film, a Most Violent Year. “So I’ve gotten to keep both my Oscar dresses.” (To jog your memory, those gowns were two custom creations from her friend over at Givenchy, Creative Director Riccardo Tisci.)

“I’m a lucky girl, but my storage unit is getting very big,” added Chastain. She may have to make more room — with her new partnership with Piaget diamonds we wonder if her freebies will expand into jewelry as well. At the Golden Globes, the actress walked the red carpet wearing nearly 500 diamonds, 34 carats worth of jewelry.

Other red carpet tidbits the star spilled? The first thing that goes through her head when she steps on the carpet: “Don’t fall down.” But her Most Violent Year costar doesn’t have quite the same fear (flat shoes could have something to do with that). “Don’t say anything stupid… or racist,” said Oscar Isaac. Wise advice all around! See more of their interview below.
