Jennifer Lopez Looked Ensnared in Beaded Tendrils

Over the weekend, "Jenny from the Block" was in Washington, D.C., for the 2013 Human Rights Campaign National Dinner. The singer, known for her boundary-pushing (a.k.a. barely there) outfit taste at award shows, continued her streak in another intricate creation by Zuhair Murad. Lopez, who was honored with the Ally for Equality Award that evening, ensured nobody would forget her by wearing a body-hugging, high-necked burgundy velvet gown with sheer silk arm, thigh, and back panels covered in beaded embellishments that looked like tendrils (or veins) had sprouted up all over her body. She added an extra dose of drama with a red Swarovski clutch and Neil Lane rings, and wore her hair in a grown-up ponytail — all while looking like a vampire queen.
