Jennifer Lopez caused some controversy in that skin-baring bodysuit that she wore to perform on Britain’s Got Talent a few weeks ago, but she doesn’t get what all the fuss is about.
“I don’t think I’m any racier than any other female pop artist,” she told the U.K.’s The Guardian. “OK, I’ll wear a sexy outfit, but I think it’s more because my body shape’s a little different to other body shapes, so that’s not very fair.”

And Lopez is happy to share that hard-won figure with the world, no matter what other people have to say about it. “I love my body,” she says. “When I got pregnant, I remember watching my back, belly and butt grow and thinking, ‘I will never be the same again.’”
With a lot of hard work, she got back to fighting form, but she dismisses the Hollywood notion that it’s easy to bounce right back to J.Lo shape.
“The truth is it takes your body time to go back, and I think these days women are too hard on themselves with that,” she says. “Nobody bounces back straightaway. You don’t know what kind of Spanx these women are wearing under their clothes, and what other tricks are going on.”
