Last night, celebrities young in age, spirit, and sartorial inclinations gathered in Los Angeles for the 2014 Teen Choice Awards. As expected, the red carpet was a familiar wash of pink stilettos, bright-orange dresses, and enough crop tops to put Coachella to shame. For the occasion, Taylor Swift kept her belly button covered in yet another coordinated crop-top and high-waist skirt set — this one a delicate shade of green resembling mint-chocolate-chip ice cream — while Kim Kardashian stuck with her tried-and-true Balmain, sporting a leather top and zebra skirt. Meanwhile, Shailene Woodley and Selena Gomez tried more intentionally adult looks, in a sleek Peter Pilotto frock and Saint Laurent suit with slicked-back hair, respectively.
