Anyone who's ever worked in fashion retail can tell you that the markup on pretty much everything would knock your $12 socks off. Everlane's Open House is a pop-up shop that's aiming to change that. Opening at the end of this week and running through the 28th of June, the Soho outpost of the ethical fashion brand will include pieces from the brand's ready-to-wear and accessories collections, along with items from Good Eggs, Heath Ceramics, and Kaufmann Mercantile. Each item will be subject to "radical transparency," meaning it will include a hang tag disclosing its origins and cost. Get ready for whatever the opposite of sticker shock is.
