These stars can take the heat! Even though Los Angeles temperatures soared to a sweat-inducing 106 degrees at the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards on Sept. 20, some intrepid celebs ignored the steamy forecast and seriously overdressed for the sake of fashion.

Christina Hendricks sshowed off her ample cleavage in a deep-V heavily embellished gown by Maxior with long sleeves that was anything but lightweight. She accessorized with a black and gold clutch by Charlotte Olympia and black shoes by Bionda Castana.
Jamie Lee Curtis wowed in a sexy fit-and-flare gown that left little uncovered, which also harkened back to the dress the Scream Queens star wore to the 1989 Emmy Awards.
Jaimie Alexander rocked her long-sleeved sequined frock by Armani Prive and didn’t seem to mind the glaring sun. The Blindspot actress, who was spotted with a handheld fan, was one step ahead of a sweaty hairstyle by wearing her short brunette locks in a slicked back ‘do. She added a little more sparkle to her look with jewels from Baccarat, and her engagement ring from fiance Peter Facinelli, who proposed to the star in March.

Orange Is the New Black’s Taryn Manning sizzled in a midnight gown by Rubin Singer that featured a strategic design perfect for the heat: a cutout back that must have provided a little ventilation. The actress polished off the look in sandals by Jerome C. Rousseau.
Kerry Washington stayed cool despite her heavy, beaded Marc Jacobs gown straight off the spring 2016 runway.
