The life of a top model is pretty glamorous. Or at least it certainly appears so on her immaculately curated social media accounts, full of green juices, tough workouts, and ankle-twisting designer heels. But the day-to-day of a professional poser is not always as #flawless as it appears, it’s just her job to make absolutely anything look amazing, as Emily Ratajkowski demonstrated on Monday when she managed to turn an unfortunate swimsuit wedgie into Beyoncé-approved belfie gold.
For those wondering what in the world could have made the model miss the opportunity to strut her stuff down the MTV VMA white carpet, it appears that Ratajkowski has been busy finding various scenic locations around Crete to model her latest swim apparel. But sometimes, when you’re in the midst of a really good seaside selfie session, your bikini bottoms go and ruin everything by getting wedged between your butt cheeks.

But Ratajkowski isn’t one to let a little wedgie get her down, instead the model took matters into her own hands, literally, stopping to dislodge the suit mid-shot. While most ladies wouldn’t choose this particular image to share with their 7.7 million followers, Emily isn’t most women, using the Beyoncé lyric “Hold up” as a caption, turning off the comment section, and calling it a day.
But this is hardly the first time the model has taken a bikini and made it into bikini-ade. While she posts a selfie almost every day wearing a different two-piece suit, the trick of Emily’s Instagram is that her shots are almost never actually about the bikini. Case in point:
