Our first thought when we heard Lauren Conrad’s engagement news: Oh em gee (!) we can’t wait to see that wedding dress. And since designers are debuting their Fall 2013 Bridal collections in N.Y.C. right now, we decided to round up some suggestions for one of our favorite PEOPLE StyleWatch covergirls!
First up, a feminine ethereal design from celeb-loved designer Jenny Packham. We know what you’re thinking: This gown looks more Whitney Port than L.C., but Conrad is definitely a Packham fan, and we can totally see her choosing something goddess-inspired like this flowy dress with gorgeous crystal detailing on the bodice. Plus, imagine it paired with her signature side-swept curls and a vintage comb like the model wears on the runway. Perfection.

Next, a head-turning Amsale creation featuring an on-trend mermaid silhouette. It’s form-fitting in all the right places, but thanks to the unique hemline, it feels fresh and a bit risky. (The real reason we picked it for Conrad: That amazing gem-embellished illusion neckline.)
And finally, the princess moment by Reem Acra. The strapless embellished bodice and voluminous diaphanous skirt are the perfect combo for a jaw-dropping confection that everyone will be talking about for months. And probably land her a magazine spread!
The designer, 27, shared her news with the world Sunday, writing on her blog, “I am very excited to share with you guys that William and I got engaged over the weekend. I’m beyond thrilled.” She also shared the below snapshot of her new round diamond sparkler on Instagram, with the caption, “Best surprise ever!”
Conrad has been dating Tell since 2012. And she already let fans know that they’ll be getting behind-the-scenes updates on her wedding planning, via her lifestyle blog. “Get ready for lots more wedding content [on my blog] as we begin the planning process,” she wrote.
Which dress do you like best for Conrad? Do you think she’ll go classic princess or more trendy? Sound off below!
