Disney fairy-tales have nothing on Christy Carlson Romano's winter wedding in Canada. The former Even Stevens star tied the knot with fiance Brendan Rooney on Tuesday, Dec. 31 -- and from the looks of these gorgeous pictures, the event was an affair to remember.

One photo of the happy couple shows the bride and groom inside the Fairmont Banff Springs, a castle nestled in the mountains of Alberta, Canada. Romano looks gorgeous in a strapless Lazaro gown with a sweetheart neckline and beaded bodice, while her groom cuts a dapper figure in Hugo Boss.
In another picture, the duo stand outside in the snow. Romano dons long white gloves and a fur stole, the perfect complement to the winter wonderland around her.

Guests at the couple's wedding feasted on tuna and avocado tartar, filet of beef tenderloin and grilled prawns, chicken, tomato soup and grilled cheese dunkers, and white chocolate cake with raspberry filling. The bride's sister Jennifer Bayles served as maid-of-honor, while the groom's brother Ryan Umphrey acted as best man.

Together since February 2011, Romano and Rooney met when she interviewed him for a campus documentary about veterans at Columbia University. Having served time as a Marine, Rooney was president of Columbia's Military Veterans organization. The two got engaged less than a year later, in September 2011, when the groom proposed on a gondola in Italy.
