If you haven’t seen Beyoncé in the news for a while (and for a while we mean, like, a week) it’s probably because she’s been pretty busy collaborating. We have a hunch that she and Cara Delevingne are up to something musically, and on the fashion front, Giuseppe Zanotti revealed Wednesday that they’re working together on a specially designed pump. And if the wait for her athleisure collection (coming this fall) is killing you, we’ve got good news: the shoes will be available in just one or two weeks!

“I’m doing a shoe with Beyoncé right now,” says Giuseppe in an interview with Forbes. And in a sketch he shared with the magazine, it appears Beyoncé’s going with an “ultra thick platform stiletto” (which could be super similar to the Zanottis she wore to the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in February, shown in the photo above).
“Beyoncé has very clear ideas — she knows exactly what she wants,” says the designer. “The thing which she then also has over other celebrities, is that she has an amazing voice. She’s incredibly talented and she’s an amazing dancer — she’s complete. Few are like Beyoncé.”

As far as their design process goes, “I’m working on finalizing the shoe with her stylist right now. And Beyoncé will then say what she likes and what she doesn’t like,” he says.
This collaboration is the perfect project for the star (who loves wearing Zanotti’s designs) and the designer (whose first passion is music; he previously collaborated on $6,000 sandals with Kanye West and high-tops with Kid Cudi). “For me the music comes first, then comes the fashion,” said Zanotti. “I used to be more into rock, but now I’m closer to the world of hip-hop.”
While the two-week drop time doesn’t give us much time to save up for a coveted pair, we can’t wait to see the sky-high, diamond-encrusted, over-the-top creation we’re envisioning!
