Carmen Lechin, Ex-Miss Venezuela, Facing Trial Over Plane Incident

HOUSTON (AP) — A former Miss Venezuela is set for a federal court trial later this month in Houston after she was accused of causing a disturbance on an airline flight.

Carmen Lechin faces a single-count indictment of interfering with a flight crew attendant. The indictment alleges she intimidated a crew member on a June 6 flight from Houston to Bogota, Colombia. The indictment further alleges that Lechin caused a disturbance through "abusive language," "assaultive behavior" and by refusing to comply with instructions.

Her trial is set for Jan. 27.

Urban Outfitters issued a mea culpa on Sunday after yet another controversial garment landed the retailer in hot water. The t-shirt in question bears the word "depression" in a busy repeating pattern -- because isn't depression, like, the coolest?

The shirt's existence came to light on Sunday after being tweeted alongside another offensive Urban shirt, the infamous "Eat Less" tee that the store pulled back in 2010.

'House of Lies' Actress, Ayelet Ben–Shahar, Allegedly Caught Stealing Groceries

It looks like one "House of Lies" actress has sticky fingers in the aisles of the supermarket. Ayelet Ben–Shahar, who appeared on the Showtime series as Tanya, a high-end jewelry dealer, was allegedly caught stealing some $400 worth of groceries at a Gelson's Market in Studio City, reports TMZ.

The 27–year–old Israeli actress was reportedly placed under citizen's arrest for the offense.
