After last year's jaunt of endless red carpets for her role in 12 Years a Slave, Lupita Nyong'o got a chance to simply relax on the red carpet at the 2015 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday Jan. 11, in Beverly Hills.
There were a lot of fun (and not-so-fun) style surprises at the Golden Globes this year, but one thing that remained remarkably consistent: Stars over 50 had some of the most head-turning moments, from their body-skimming dresses to the killer bodies in those dresses.

Celebrities on the Golden Globe Awards red carpet sported some knockout looks. After last year's parade of the over-the-top glamour, it was quite refreshing to see stars eschewing the norm and tailoring their hair and makeup to fit their unique style.
We knew there would be a pants moment at the Golden Globes. But this year we got lucky with not one, but two stars who skipped the floor-skimming gowns in favor of looks that were all about the trousers: Emma Stone and Lorde!

The Golden Globes red carpet is like a glorified fashion show, with stunning gowns and amazing heels galore. As the event that kicks off award show season, the pressure is most certainly on. Many celebs were up for the challenge and completely wowed us in some dresses for the ages. We were so distracted by all the beautiful looks, we almost forgot that the red carpet isn't the entire show.

How’s 2015 going for you so far?
Great. I just got back from a yoga retreat in Costa Rica. Over the summer, a glass door from a gym shattered on my head when I was walking along Lexington Avenue. I have post-concussive syndrome, and my brain isn’t firing the way it should. I’m working on a novel, so I thought the retreat could help.
