Is there a feud brewing between Apple and Martha Stewart? Not exactly, but Stewart's recent tweets were just provocative enough to get the attention of Apple PR, and that team wasn't happy. After dropping her iPad and "shattering two of the corners," Stewart tweeted, "What to do? Does one call Apple to come and pick it up or do I take it?” Then she got a little disgruntled: “I am still waiting for an Apple rep to come pick up my iPad. No action yey.” And then, “Maybe I have had a good entrepreneurial idea? Apple Now? Like same day delivery from Amazon?” (Not a bad concept, by the way.)
Stewart went on the Today show this morning to "put out fires" about the tweets, blaming Twitter users for not understanding the joke. But we still think the DIY Doyenne was waiting for a free-iPad-replacement-toting intern to materialize. At this time, even though Steve Jobs gave her that iPad, her device remains broken, yet functional. She tweeted that she's concerned about the danger of cracked glass. Seriously, just go to the Genius Bar before Apple's stock takes a nose dive today.
