The drama isn’t over between Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump, according to one of their Real Housewives of Beverly Hills costars.
Dorit Kemsley teases to PEOPLE Now that — despite the women appearing to make amends — there may be continued fallout between the friends in the wake of an on-screen dispute earlier this season.
“Kyle and Lisa Vanderpump have had a friendship for a long time and they’ve had their trials and tribulations,” says Kemsley, 41. “Lisa and I, we have a newer friendship. But it’s very strong, very solid.”
She continues, “I don’t really understand the triangle. I’m never going to get in the middle between friendship. I don’t even know what they have. I know that when we’re together, we have a lot of fun and I love these girls. And I know when I’m with them individually, we also have great fun.”
Kemsley also alludes to some upcoming revelations about Richards: “I think Kyle might have some deep-rooted things — maybe things have to surface at some point.”
The trio fought over Richards defending new Housewife Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave during an argument with Kemsley. Kemsley told Richards, “I don’t know why one of my best friends would be sticking up for someone that she’s just met, rather than sticking up for me. It really hurts me. It just feels so wrong.”

Later, when the women went out to dinner to celebrate that an ongoing lawsuit against Vanderpump’s husband Ken Todd had been dropped, the evening quickly went south. Kemsley, again, expressed how hurt she felt over Richards defending a new friend over an old one. Vanderpump ended up leaving the restaurant to go home to her husband.
“I’m going in a cab,” said Vanderpump, “because I don’t want to give on with this s—.”
The dispute ended in apologies all around, however, with a unanimous resolve that their friendship is too important to squabble.
